North Shore Montessori School is a non-profit organization chartered by The New York State Board of Regents, is recognized by the Three Village School District, and is affiliated with The American Montessori Society.
Located in the quaint and historic village of Old Stony Brook on eastern Long Island, the North Shore Montessori School offers the finest enriched learning experience for preschool and primary children. The school was founded in 1970 by a group of parents who shared the vision of providing the best education possible for their children. Since its inception, this organization has remained the strong Montessori parent cooperative which was envisioned by its founders.
